Wayne is a division of Dresser Inc., an industrial conglomerate that was formed in 1880 in the United States when oil started to be produced in Texas, targeted to the supply of engineering equipment, systems and services for the oil industry and hydrocarbon-derived energy industry.
For more than 100 years Wayne is in the segment of dispensing equipment for liquid oil derivatives. In 1891, it developed the first pump for selling kerosene; in 1907, the first gasoline pump; in 1918, the first pump with visible product; in 1928, the first one with meter and volume indicator and in 1933 the first computer pump.
Wayne supports its global operation with its plants in the USA, Europe and Brazil.
