Wayne is a division of Dresser Inc., an industrial conglomerate that was formed in 1880 in the United States when oil started to be produced in Texas, targeted to the supply of engineering equipment, systems and services for the oil industry and the hydrocarbon-derived energy industry.

For more than 100 years Wayne is in the segment of dispensing equipment for liquid oil derivatives. In 1891, it developed the first pump for selling kerosene; in 1907, the first gasoline pump; in 1918, the first pump with visible product; in 1928, the first one with meter and volume indicator and in 1933 the first computer pump.

Wayne supports its global operation with its plants in the USA, Europe and Brazil.

The global market share is one of the characteristics of Wayne's operations. To this end, it has world-class quality products, with international standardization at competitive prices.

Located in Bonsucesso, Rio de Janeiro, the Wayne Brazil plant has a total area of 12,000 m2 and about 250 employees, all committed to the continuous development of the Quality Management System.


As part of the plant's modernization program, the Total Quality Philosophy was deployed. ISO 9001 Certification was obtained in October, 1995, granted by the BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality Internacional) certification.

Today Wayne Brazil is certified by ISO 9001 version 2000.

We are certifying our Environmental Management System.


The projects are developed according to the specifications and needs of the customers through the CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing) Systems.


The Processes are in continuous improvement following product evolution and ensuring high productivity levels.


Last generation machinery and equipment manufacture parts and components, ensuring process stability and total reliability in the manufacturing process. Machining centers, numeric control punchers and benders connected by fiber optics to the Engineering computers guarantee the quality of Wayne products.


The Quality System offers full support to the processes, monitoring them continuously. The major operating principles are measured and monitored.


The Wayne Services Network has national coverage. Our Call Center in Rio supports all the field actions. We have a backup information system that allows us to manage the performance of the resources available and installed equipment by means of reporting. Our Parts Bank is sized to the meet the needs for spare parts by the demand level and vital parts system.

The Wayne plant makes available an area specially prepared and equipped for courses, theoretical and practical training.
